Froze River Treks are a great way to explore Ladakh. These Froze river treks will give you experience of some of the most stunning parts. The best thing about these hikes is that fortunately they don’t require any special equipment or any kind of training.

They’re also relatively inexpensive compared to other forms of adventure travel in India like paragliding or white water rafting!

    Chadar Trek, Ladakh

The Chadar Trek is a 60-kilometre trek through the frozen Zanskar River. It is one of the best treks in India and can be done as an easy day hike or a longer trip.

The Chadar Trek offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and picturesque panoramas as you walk through lush valleys and past lakes that have been carved out by glaciers thousands of years ago. You’ll also get to see some beautiful wildlife, including wild horses and ibexes (hooved goats).

    Markha Valley Trek, Ladakh

The Markha Valley Trek is a high altitude trek, with some of the highest passes in Ladakh, including an epic pass at 5,000 meters (16,400 feet). This makes it one of the most strenuous treks in India and therefore not recommended for beginners or those who lack experience.

The trek begins at Leh and follows along an ancient trade route across lakes and rivers to Pangg La Pass, which stands at 5100 meters above sea level. From here you can catch glimpses of snow-capped mountains through gaps in their towering peaks as you begin your descent into another valley before climbing back up again towards Nubra Valley’s monastery where there are several monasteries located along its path.

    Shivlinga Peak Trek, Uttarakhand

Shivlinga Peak Trek is not only one of the best treks of the north but also one of the most popular treks in India. The trek starts from Rishikesh and ends at Joshimath, covering a distance of about 500 km (300 miles). It has been described as an “intense adventure that will leave you breathless and beaming with pride at having conquered this beautiful land.”

The route passes through some of the most magnificent landscapes on earth: forests, meadows, rivers and lakes…and it may or may not include some snow-capped peaks along its way! The journey takes anywhere between 20-22 days depending on how fast you hike along with other visitors who are going at the same pace as yours.

    Roopkund Trek, Uttarakhand

The trek takes place at an altitude of 15,000 feet and passes through dense forests, crossing rivers and lakes along the way.

The trek is difficult because it involves climbing steep slopes, crossing high mountain passes, walking on snow-covered paths through forests with thick vegetation cover at some point during your journey. It also involves camping out in tents for a night or two at each campsite along this route!

Kuari Pass Trek in Winter, Uttarakhand

Kuari Pass Trek is a challenging trek that starts from Kedarnath and ends at Kuari Pass. The goes through most beautiful parts of Uttarakhand state, including Nanda Devi National Park and Gangotri Glacier.

It’s possible to go on this trek in winter, but it’s not for beginners or those who don’t have experienced feet!

    Shakti Parikrama

Shakti Parikrama offers amazing views of the snow-covered mountains and glaciers. It is also known as the holy pilgrimage to visit Kedarnath Temple, a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

This trek takes you through some beautiful mountain passes and passes by the river called Gangotri that originates from Himalayas.

    Kedarnath Yatra

The Kedarnath Yatra is also known as Kedar Parikrama or Kedar Kotha, which is an annual Hindu pilgrimage to visit Shri Kedarnath Temple located at an elevation of 6500 feet above sea level in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state.

This temple was built by sage Bhrigu after he found out that Lord Shiva had been defeated by demons and was lying unconscious on his chest at this place. The Kedarnath Yatra lasts for four days and three nights with an average altitude gain of 3000 meters per day during this time.
