What does your dream home look like? Take this opportunity to meet the masterminds behind developing AMA9 and learn what you can do to achieve your dream.
What is ama9?
The American Medical Association (AMA) is the largest and most influential physician membership organization in the United States. The AMA’s stated mission is “to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health.” AMA9 is an annual event hosted by the AMA that focuses on medical innovation and technology.
Every year, medical professionals from all over the world come to AMA9 to learn about new breakthroughs in medicine, share their own research, and network with fellow clinicians. This year’s theme is “It’s Time To Dream Again,” which means that attendees will be focusing on how to turn their innovative ideas into reality.
If you’re a medical professional interested in staying up-to-date on the latest advances in medicine, or if you’re looking for inspiration for your own medical career, AMA9 is the event for you.
Location
It’s been a tough year for all of us. We’ve been stuck indoors, away from our friends and families, and our lives have been turned upside down. But it’s important to remember that this is only temporary. Things will eventually return to normal, and we’ll be able to pursue our dreams again. AMA members are no strangers to dreaming big.
We’ve always been driven by a desire to make a difference in the world, and we’ll continue to be once this pandemic is over. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to start dreaming again! If you need some inspiration, check out these AMA members who are making a difference in the world: Dr. Jordan Shlain is the founder of HealthLoop, a platform that helps patients better manage their health by communicating with their care team between appointments.
Dr. Jennifer Cool is the co-founder of Code Black Ventures, which invests in early-stage health technology companies led by women and people of color. Dr. Dara Richardson-Heron is the CEO of UnitedHealthcare AARP MedicareRx Plans, which provides affordable prescription drug coverage for seniors.
With Bus Transit Lines 850, 852 and 950 Nearby
The American Medical Association (AMA) is urging people to “dream again” and consider all the possibilities for their lives and careers, now that bus transit lines 850, 852 and 950 are nearby. The AMA Notes that with these bus routes, “commuting to work or school, running errands, and getting to appointments will be easier than ever.” The blog urges readers to take advantage of the opportunities that these new transit options provide.
AMA9’s Urban Neighbourhood Design
The AMA9’s Urban Neighbourhood Design is a response to the current housing crisis in many Canadian cities. The design is a complete re-imagining of the suburban single-family home, which has become increasingly unaffordable for many families.
The AMA9’s Urban Neighbourhood Design offers a new way of living that is more sustainable, affordable, and enjoyable. The neighbourhood is designed around a 9-block grid, with each block containing 9 homes. This density allows for a variety of amenities to be located within walking distance of every home, including grocery stores, restaurants, parks, and schools.
The homes themselves are designed to be highly energy efficient and can be used as passive solar heating and cooling systems. Solar panels on the roof provide power for the homes and electric vehicles. The AMA9’s Urban Neighbourhood Design is an ambitious project that will require significant investment and political will to bring to fruition. But it offers a vision of what our cities could look like if we are willing to dream again about urban living.
